Spring
Come clouds,
Your tears give life,
As winter passes by,
We long for the flowers of spring,
And the joy they bring.
Dance from the heavens,
Oh tears of joy,
Their cold kiss,
A welcome risk,
For its been cold to long,
And spring’s finally begun.
Rivers rise as snow melts,
And the clouds open up,
The ground is slick,
And the grass dull,
But it’s great to see the green again,
Even if some is brown and weak.
Oh spring,
How I wish you lasted longer,
But the snow is gone,
The sun is warm,
The breeze a gentle squeeze,
Rain is warmed as well,
As I dance beneath,
In my bare feet,
Spring is not long,
But oh, it’s a wonderful sou
